Long run shifted to MR due to OSIM triathlon at ECP. It was a blessing actually cos i get to have that extra bit of sleep than the usual ECP run. I can wake up at 615am and reach MR by 7.
The run begins with a humble pace as jason bring us on a journey in search of the runners gait shop. We explore around so-chin-chow DR but was to no avail except that we climb this 156.678333333m slope that burns my quads just 15mins into the run. It has been sometime since i run along a hilly course, I tot i am sure going to die at the end when the pace builds up.
We went along upp thomson rd , broadwalk , old thomson rd up till seletar reservoir where we U-turn and hit back to MR. It was quite a scenic run along the stretch of the reservoir.
The pace build up as we hit back to MR. I tot its gonna be a solid long run if i hang on to the pace. I held on to it with mok motivating me at the back. I decided to drop off the pace as we turn in to Lornie rd and ease the last 5min to MR.
Was a solid run , and a solid chicken rice brunch with popiah and KOI at BISHAN and a good tok cok session with SIA and kenneth at YA KUN even tot we order nothing LOL!
