I was so lazy that i slept in on a nice sunday morning. Did my long run in the evening along park connectors. Nothing beats ending the week with a long long run. It really test the limt of our mind and body. It leaves a sense of satisfaction and tiredness which really gives the body a good toxin flush. If i have only 1 choice of workout, definitely it's going to be the long run.
You need not be a elite runners to do long run or even speed work. Recreation runners can also go longer or do a pace change to make running more fun. Try exploring your neighbourhood or run to other places through the park connectors and side road. Unknowingly, you completed your 20k long run or even 30k long run.
Still, it is best to do in the morning when the air is so fresh. Need to stop procrastinating and wake up early! That means i need to sleep earlier.
